Top c/o Pink Martini. Dress, old. Bag, Sole Society. Shoes, Pink Martini. Sunnies, Celine. Necklace c/o Pinkstix. Bangle, Child of Wild, Ring, Samantha Wills.

Spent the day hanging out in downtown Toronto taking in some old familiar sights. Truly got that Spring feeling wearing this boho kimono top with the sunshine beating down on me. Loving the effortlessly stylish look that is so easily achieved by layering this Casablanca top over a simple white dress. It would also look great with a crop and shorts but I’ll save that for slightly warmer double digits. I paired the look with the City Girl shoe which also happens to be from Pink Martini. Added a crochet detailed saddle bag and turquoise detailed jewelry for that bohemian vibe. Glad that it’s Friday again and looking forward to the weekend – what are your plans?

  1. I loved this Casablanca top, I was going to call kimono – till I read you said it's a top. The dress is also very nice and the shoes, too. I love your style! Sorry I didn't come here last week, I just saw the beautiful dress now (previous post). I caught the swine flu, not a simple cold and it took a toll on me 🙁 Hope you have a great weekend!

  2. The best element in this look is "kimono" and bag. This two elements are great and fit together ideal! But, I afraid that shoes is not fit ideal. I have thought about similar shoes in Shiin.com, but finally I gave up after making fast photomontage – this kind of shoes looks better on shop pictures, but on the legs looks not as good. It is necessary to have veeeery long legs, because this shoes optical shorten legs.

    1. Thanks for the feedback Magda! You know at first I was very skeptical about these shoes as well and had my doubts, but once I tried them on I fell in love. It can be challenging at times to wear all the latest trends while being really short…as they do not always appeal to a petite gal, but I don't let that stop me 🙂
      Have a great day!

    2. Agnes, I am glad You dont angry with me 🙂 I like to write true, not only "great blabla". I appreciate the bloggers who love to discuss and take every opinions, like just now. Anyway, I show You which shoes I wanted to buy, but I resigned at the last minute 🙂

And, what do You think? Great or not? 🙂 I think it is great, but when I make photomontage in photoshop – I gave up 🙂

    3. Magda!! Of course not 🙂 Absolutely I agree with you that we should be able to share our honest opinions here. Everyone has their own taste and opinions, and that in itself is wonderful! I love the shoes you picked out, I especially like the colour block which makes them very unique! I think you should get them…you'll like it! I can't stop wearing my shoes everywhere now 🙂

    4. Instead those one I bought different – more retro, little weird, very unique. Perhaps for 2-3 weeks I will make look with it, so I will show You 🙂 Just now I am away from home and I know that package is awaiting. I am very curious…
Those colored shoes is really great, but I afraid that on legs it looks too strong, it makes leg looks shorter and too heavy. I am thinking like architect, it is my job 😉 I am glad You like yours, this is most important. I have some clothes which is nice but I dont wear it because I feel bad in it, in fact without any reason.
