Remember when I told you that I was looking forward to summer to really start rocking that lingerie trend? Well, here we are. This beautiful dress by Tobi could not capture the essence of this trend any better! I love slip dresses, but adore this one even more because of the floral print and eyelash lace detail. NYX Prom

Had the pleasure of attending prom hosted by NYX Cosmetics held at a lovely venue on Queen St E in Toronto. For the look, I did not want to go with a traditional style dress so instead I opted for a top + skirt combo for that two piece effect. Paired a Diane von Furstenberg gold tiered skirt (circa 2010) with a simple black knit tank threaded with gold to compliment the skirt. Dior clutch and lace up sandals with some statement jewelry completed the look for NYX Prom.

The NYX Prom event was illuminated with pink lighting and decor. It was also equipped with photo booths, makeup stations and resinated with the baddest jams from the 90’s. Amongst some really vibrant makeup of special note were the pink makeup sponges. Ummm…how adorable!?
