After what seemed like an eternity of winter it was nice nice to finally shelf those knits in lieu of silk tops and the ability to forgo outwear. For this evening out I wore a pair of Diesel flared jeans with a pink leopard silk top. I debated over heels vs flats for the longest time. However in the end I settled for lace up ballet flats as I had been going for a more casual dressed down sorta look. Although I’m sure this getup would have looked more chic with a pair of black strappy heels.

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend!

Jacket, blanket scarf, flats, Zara. Cardigan, Forever 21. Top, Mexx. Skirt, Guess. Backpack c/o Pinkstix. Sunnies, Gucci.

Things finally warmed up in Toronto and it was actually enjoyable to be outside in the sunshine. For this Friday night out I wore a darker denim pencil skirt that brought out the darker blue of the blanket scarf. And of course I had to wear my biker jacket and lace up flats. Dressed in a casual outfit for our night of grabbing Indian food and spending some time outside enjoying the weather.

Hop you have an enjoyable weekend

Infinite Fringe

Top, Mexx. Skirt, (here), Booties, (here), Lulus. Infinity scarf, all accessories c/o Pinkstix. Sunnies, Ray Ban. Ring, Child of Wild.

Mixing chunky knits with a white lace skirt for an afternoon out hanging with my boo. I love the contrast created using the bold teal blue knit over the light and delicate lace skirt (which also happens to be part of a two piece dress). The knit you see me wearing is actually an infinity scarf but it was too warm to have worn it bundled up. Seeing as how I couldn’t part with it (due to it’s perfect pairing with the clutch) I styled it like a poncho. Which created a pretty neat effect with the fringe detailing of the scarf.
