I got this Spell & the Gypsy dress in the summer right around the time we started house hunting. And as I edit this blog post now I realize it all couldn’t have come together more magically. These two wandering nomads have finally found their new home. And the spell we’re under is a bit of our dreams coming true. In just a little over a month Shane and I are moving into our dream home. Which means that this city girl is moving to the country.
I cannot even tell you how excited I am to move. We’ve been longing to get out into the country for a few years now and it’s finally coming to fruition. As excited as I am, the city girl inside me is trembling just a little bit. Talk about lifestyle change. And one I never envisioned either…city girl goes country. I can’t help but remember years ago showing up at Shane’s place (in the forest) wearing my stilettos and tulle skirts. Pretty sure his friends and neighbours must have though I was nuts. Little did I know that was foreshadowing our future.
I’m not sure if it comes with age or if it’s because I grew up in downtown Toronto that’s making me crave the complete opposite of a busy city. Although I wholeheartedly love Toronto I am looking forward to the calm and serene landscapes of the countryside. And being surrounded by nature.

While my head is already spinning with ideas I’m sure that living out in the country will be an inspiration in itself and I can’t wait to see what type of content that experience inspires.
