Flying Into Fall With This Pink Cardigan

Bench Don't Walk Fly pink cardigan

Don’t Walk, Fly.

Every time I wear this pink cardigan from Bench I get asked what the Don’t Walk Fly on the patch means. At first my response was, I don’t know, I didn’t buy it for the patch. I just really liked the pink sweater. But after having someone outright ask if the verbiage was intended to encourage drug use, I had to step back for a moment and think about this, as annoyed by the comment as I was. First off, no reputable brand and clothing designer would put language on their clothing intended to encourage drug use. And even the suggestion was absurd. So then I had to really think hard on it. Jacket, Old Navy. Dress c/o Yoins. Scarf and bracelet c/o Pinkstix. Purse, Rebecca Minkoff. Sneakers, Converse. Sunglasses, Ray Ban. Rings, Child of Wild.

Been loving this mild winter we’ve been having. I cannot remember a February where I was ever able to wear a mini shift dress with practically bare legs. Usually at this time of the year we are buried under a foot of snow, if not more. As a result I styled a shift dress with a jean jacket and Converse sneakers with nylons for a laid back casual edgy look. Added an infinity scarf for warmth and a pop of colour.

Roads Untravelled

Concert tee. Skirt, old. Sunglasses, Ray Ban. Sneakers, Converse.

Last look from our road trip consisting of all recycled pieces: old Linkin Park concert tee, denim skirt, and Chuck Taylors. I wore this for the initial drive up. We enjoyed a 4 hour drive along picturesque roads and even caught the sunrise on our way up. We weren’t even going to take pictures that morning until we stumbled upon this bridge that was so beautifully adorned with flowers. It was just to pretty to pass up.
