Wore this to Indian Friday night. I was feeling wearing something feminine to dinner, but it was just so cold out. Then it ocurred to me to wear this floral chiffon dress over my casual Friday work attire and added the knit headband. Figured I’d give it one last wear before the season was out.

Never have been a huge celebrator of Valentines Day due to the belief that love should be celebrated every day. Although it is nice to have an excuse for an extra special night with your loved one. If you are celebrating V-Day, whether with your boo or besties, I’ve put together a look for Valentine’s night.
I tend to prefer pinks over reds, and so I’ve revived this vintage fuschia pink silk pussy bow blouse, styled with lace and flower print stockings. I kept the skirt to a minimalistic black mini so as not to detract from the detailing of the blouse or hosiery. And of course I had to layer a chunky knit cape to offset the delicates of the silk blouse, and added a statement knit headband to throw everything together. Sweater dresses have become my new favourite article of clothing this season. Around the house I wear them with over the knee socks and for outside I tend to layer them over leggings or jeans with riding boots, or booties. As such wearing a dress over jeans has become my new stylish way of keeping warm in winter. Stay warm my friends!
