Contrast Collar Blouse

Blouse, c/o Persun (here). Trousers and Heels, Zara. Wooden bracelets, Mango. Silver bangle, Betsey Johnson. Skeleton ring, Nasty Gal. Purse, gifted. Snake ring, The Bay.

As briefly mentioned in my last post, this contrast collar blouse was crush # 2. I’ve been wanting one ever since I spotted a co-worker wearing a similar style. Now while crossing the border in search of one (how she got hers) wasn’t a feasible option, Persun was kind enough to fulfill my desire! The chiffon drapes beautifully; is soft and lightweight, and really comfy to wear with its loose, yet chict fit. And did I mention that it wrinkles a lot less than other fabrics? So it’s very reliable for those mornings when you simply need to grab a blouse and bottoms before flying out the door – without having to steam. Although be warned, if you chose the beige colour (it also comes in black) you need to have a nude bra on standby, as this baby is pretty sheer. Let me know what you think….

Skeleton Grasp My Dark Virtue

Blouse, Lovely Day from Nasty Gal. Jeans, Zara. Jacket, Danier. Boots, Ralph Lauren. Bag, Coach. Belt, Guess. Ring, Nasty Gal. Scarf, H&M.

Really digging this Lovely Day blouse I just picked up from Nasty Gal. Initially I bought it with the intent of wearing it as shown here tucked into a pair of jeans, trousers or skirt. However, the blouse does have a longer cut at the back allowing for more versatility. The dark romantic florals of this sheer blouse flow oh so beautifully giving it a loose, yet feminine cut and the plunging V neckline is a bonus. Hence I am already pairing this blouse with a simple pair of leggings and over the knee boots in my head for its next outing.

Have a fabulous afternoon!

The Bridge

Eagle Shadows Top, One Teaspoon from Nasty Gal. Top, H&M. Skirt, American Eagle. Shoes, Steve Madden. Shades, Ray Ban.

Last outfit from the Bruce Peninsula road trip. I layered my loose tee crop over the One Teaspoon bikini top because I really like the effect of revealing the lattice design of the One Teaspoon bikini while wearing the crop off the shoulder. These pictures were taken on our last day before heading home and we couldn’t have asked for better weather. In fact, it was actually pretty hot out. For our last stop we went on a suspension bridge. Which was fun but also pretty spooky when people decided they were going to shake it up for fun. We had an amazing time on our trip, thanks for reading and hope that you enjoyed the photos!
