Being a summer girl at heart the change of seasons can be a bit daunting for me at times. As a result, I like to incorporate summer pieces into my Fall wardrobe to keep the summer vibes going…even when it’s too cold outside to remember that summer even existed. For this look I wore a floral romper with a bold floral print paired with a black chunky knit cardigan. The bold and vibrant yet delicate florals contrast perfectly against the thick knit. To complete the look, I styled my boho chic outfit with some OTK (over the knee) boots (which are really trending this season) and a floppy hat for maximum warmth.

My favourite piece in this look is the floral romper which I received from Yoins. I was approached by Yoins to review their products and chose a floral romper with this exact look in mind. Having been pleased with the service and quality of the garments I was also impressed especially with their assortment of rompers and dresses. A trendy selection of all your Fall essentials are located on their site at very affordable price points.

Happy Weekend!

Scarf, Jeans, Zara. Jacket, Miss London. Hat, Olive & Pique (here). Bag, Pinkstix. Sunnies, Foster Grant.

The blanket scarf has helped me to embrace the Fall season. Being a true summer girl at heart the change of seasons can be difficult for me to adjust to at times. Not only a great styling piece, blanket scarves are so warm and versatile that even someone like me who wants to hide out when it’s cold can actually enjoy being outside. Styled here casually with a hint of wine red for that Autumn feel. And new Steve Madden riding boots, because I literally wore my last pair out.

Knit, BCBG. Leopard mini skirt here. Boots, Aldo. Bag, c/o Pinkstix. Sunnies, Foster Grant. Necklace, Stella & Dot.

Took my new Zara leopard mini skirt out for a night on the town. Styled it for Fall with my old pair of OTK boots (new pair on standby!) And I purposely avoided a cropped knit because I felt the mini was short enough that I didn’t need to show anymore skin. I originally wanted to wear this skirt with a heavier knit, but oddly enough it wasn’t cold enough to do so. Note to self: must try with a chunky knit later on in the season. Added a touch of Red Wine via the shoulder bag; there’s just something about red/burgundy that works so well with leopard, and I am loving the red wine for Autumn. What are your favourite trending colours this season?
