If you’re looking to stay on trend this Spring season, a ruffled blouse is a great place to start. In fact, the more layers and frills the better. The more extra the blouse is, the more trend worthy it will be this season.
At the same time, if you don’t want to be too extra you can opt for a more subtle design like the one I’m wearing here from Axariya’s Closet. This blouse has a simple black and white stripe which pairs great with black jeans. It would also look great paired with a black ruffled skirt.
Until it’s warm enough to wear a blouse sans jacket a great option for pairing is a biker jacket. I feel like biker jackets really and truly go with anything and you just can’t go wrong wearing one.
The ruffled sleeve and collar detailing make this blouse oh so cute and trendy in a subtle way. The back of the blouse also features two oversize buttons which are just adorable and make the top quite chic.
Frayed raw hem jeans are where it’s at for denim this season. Most of these styles are a little cropped which is perfect if you’re a shortie like me. ‘Cause it’s great NOT to have to get every single pair of jeans hemmed. Naturally a cropped jean will look great on anyone who’s tall as well. Actually, if you are short it’s best to wear this style with a bit of a heel just so that it elongates the legs a little bit. A great way to wear a frayed raw hem jean is with a pair of booties. Or cute sneakers if you have the height.
If you’re rocking a black and white look like I am here then a pair of nude/beige accessories will work really well. Although I opted for beige ankle boots I couldn’t resist my pink LV crossbody bag to complete the look.
