2020. Seemed so far off into the distant future growing up. But here we are somewhat living out that futuristic life we seen as kids in sci-fi movies. Furthermore, we have Google building a futuristic city just down the
street from where I grew up. Although to be honest 2020 seems like somewhat of a paradox living out here in the country in comparison to Toronto life. Moving to a rural landscape feels like we’ve gone back in time a few decades. Once you’ve reverted back to simple life 2020 seems a bit strange.
I’m using this post to set some 2020 goals. As well as offer a bit of insight into some of the content to come. Besides the outfits. And I figured writing them down would (hopefully) hold me more accountable.
We’re hoping to initiate some home renos this year. While we’ve renovated on our own before this time we’re looking at working with a general contractor for a few specific things. As such I’m hoping to capture some of this content and share our learnings along the way.
Another goal for the year is the garden. I would like to get the flowers under control as well as section out an herb garden. Never thought I’d be working on this type of content but it’s become the lifestyle and I actually dig it.
As for the blog, I would like to improve on consistency with posting. I admire anyone who is able to post twice a week. That would be major goals for sure. There’s something to be said about owning ones space and not having to rely on social platforms which come and go. Which makes the blog a valuable space I’m hoping to invest more time into this year. Have you reflected on your 2020 goals? And if so, have you written them down?
